(If your dog has training tools we are able to use them).

What do you get with this service in a day:
7+ hours of care
2 Basic Obedience/Manners sessions
2 Exercising activities (Trail walk, treadmill, agility room)
2 Playtimes (small groups if allowed or single play)
1 enrichment puzzle for the day
Pictures of their day.
Plenty of rest and down time in a quiet area for dogs that can not deal with the regular structure of normal daycare.

If your dog has training tools and protocol they were written down for us to follow or ask if you would like something different but any major issues in behavior will be referred to a trainer.

Class Trainers at Chewies

Katrin (Beyond Sit Dog Training)

Katrin Moffroid is an AKC good citizen and star puppy evaluator, certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. She has been training dogs since she was in 4H at 9 years old, and worked at Heartland Humane Society through high school and college. Dog training was a hobby for many years, until covid prompted her to take a career jump and make it a full time passion. Katrin utilizes a positive reinforcement, choice-based learning training style, which first teaches dogs how to learn and think about the choices they are making (rather than just respond to cues or instinct). She loves to focus on strengthening the bond between human and pup, therefore much of her training is game based to make it fun for both the dogs and owners. She currently competes in agility with her dogs Poppet and Arrow, and while her dog Mysti has retired from agility due to a health condition, she has earned her trick dog champion certificate and knows somewhere between 75-100 tricks (maybe one day I will count!)
